As a microcosm of old Shanghai, the Bund will show you a spectacular international architecture and history exhibition. Listen to your personal guide tell the stories behind the historical buildings and get an in-depth understanding of the ever-changing Shanghai. Followed by the tour is Jade Buddha Temple, a silk workshop, and then take a relaxing stroll around Fuxing Park, where can see the locals enjoy their leisure time, such as dancing, playing cards, playing Tai Chi and badminton. Later, continue to Bugaoli to see the traditional Stone Gate (Stone Arched Gate), stop at a food market and try some popular dim sum. After a 1.5-hour drive, you’ll reach Tongli Water Town, one of the most beautiful water towns in the Jiangnan region. Crisscrossed by canals and dotted with over forty ancient stone bridges, Tongli feels like a living Chinese painting, where whitewashed walls and black-tiled roofs reflect gracefully in the water.

Take a hand-rowed boat ride through the waterways, passing under graceful arched bridges and willow-shaded banks. Stroll along the cobbled lanes to explore traditional residences, quiet courtyards, and small shops that reflect the charm of an old Chinese water town. Then, return to Suzhou for an overnight stay.

Start today’s tour from the Lingering Garden, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the best-planned garden in Suzhou. Afterward, embark on a rickshaw to glimpse at the locals’ life and move on to Pan Gate Scenic Area, where you will see a 2,500-year-old ancient city gate that combines a waterway and a land way perfectly. Later on, visit Suzhou No.1 Silk Factory. Built in 1926, now it is an assembly of a museum, producing mill, sales house and fashion show platform.

After the tour, head to Hangzhou by high-speed train. Upon arrival, your local guide and driver will greet you and escort you to your hotel.

Whether rainy or sunny, you are always treated with a typical picture with the classical beauty of China: tree-lined causeways, exquisite pavilions, stone bridges that contrast with the water and leisurely boats on the lake.

In the afternoon, continue the tour to Lingyin Temple, Dragon Well Tea Plantation and Museum of Hu Qing Yu Tang Traditional Chinese Medicine Drugstore. At the drugstore, you can see people buy different Chinese herbal medicine, just as what could be seen hundreds of years ago.

Board on a high-speed train heading to Huangshan. Arrive after around 2 hours, meet your local guide at the railway station and then be escorted to visit Hongcun, a picturesque village that perfectly embodies local people’s daily life and their beautiful dwelling architecture. When the tour ends, head to your hotel in the city for check-in.

After breakfast, drive about 1.5 hours to the foot of Mt. Huangshan (the Yellow Mountain), where Yungu cable car will take you up to the mountain. When getting out of the cable car, you need hike 20 to 30 minutes along the stone steps to reach your hotel. Check in and have a short break at the hotel, and then follow your tour guide to enjoy the fabulous scenery of Beihai Area.
