Spend a half-day exploring Kowloon’s traditional neighborhoods and savor authentic Hong Kong flavors. Start at the Flower and Bird Market, where locals pick up their favorite pets, beautiful flowers, exquisite cages, food, or pet toys. Then pass by Lui Seng Chun, a historic building blending Chinese and Western architectural styles, and transfer to Apliu Street – a famous open-air flea market. Here, you will find a lot of second-hand electronic products, old toys, and various sundries. Stop at Mei Ho House to glimpse the everyday life of grassroots people in the 1950s-1960s and significant changes over the decades.
